Energy each turn depending on how many empty spaces are in your backpack.

Synergies
The Mouse Wood can synergize with some other relics:
- If any form of weapon creation is used, Brutal Bombstone can passively empty the used spaces again before the next turn.
- Organized List and Bombstone can do the same to a lesser extent, though the former can apply to all item types.
- Barbell can trigger Mouse Wood's effect again when you take
Damage.
It also has synergies with regular items:
- Template:Ghostly Items are counted as empty spaces
- Spectral Orb gives adjacent items the Template:Ghostly status, allowing you to use more space without any penalty to
Energy. - Ghost Gem can benefit off of the empty spaces as well as being Template:Ghostly itself.

- Forms of item creation, such as Cauldron, Ethereal Staff and Archer's Wand can have the Mouse Wood utilize the empty spaces they are able to fill after the start of the turn.
- Most Arrows can benefit off of the same empty spaces the Mouse Wood counts for its Energy.
- Token of Energy and its variations need empty spaces to grant their Energy, so Mouse Wood can allow them to be used more efficiently.
