Frogs summon this resource from other realms deep in the depths of the dungeon

A Manastone is an item type used to store mana, a resource used in by various magical items. Manastones and conductive items that are adjacent to each other collectively form a "mana network". At the end of combat, there is a 1/6 chance of spawning a random common manastone as an additional reward. This chance stacks each combat until a common manastone drops, reseting upon drop.

Mana Network

A mana network is a matrix consisting of multiple connected manastones. The placement, capacity and distance of each individual manastone determines the order of each manastone chosen whenever mana is needed to be drained or refilled. Some manastones have special effects depending on their placement in a mana flow. Non conductive items are ignored in flowing mana, allowing to direct mana in a specific path if desired.

• Almost every manastone will be refilled after each combat, allowing for mana stockpiling to power Magic items, in exchange for occupying the vast majority of your backpack.
• Certain items such as the Apprentice's Staff and Ancient Tome allows you to exchange Energy for Mana, at varying ratios, along with other effects.
• Some items such as the Lightning Ring and Magician's Blade trigger effects when mana flows through them. In these cases, they are optimally used as "bridges" between your mana producers/consumers, and manastones.
